Adolescent Program

A 12-Week Virtual Leadership & Development Experience.

For Adolescent Girls

Adolescence is more than a season of change. It is a season of becoming.

01

Who am I? Who am I becoming? What will I contribute to the world?

A time when girls are discovering who they are, deciding what they believe, navigating relationships, finding their voices, recognizing their strengths, and beginning to imagine the women they may one day become.

Bloom is an intimate 12-week virtual youth leadership and development experience created to give adolescent girls a place to explore that journey intentionally.

Through leadership development, meaningful conversation, expressive arts, creative experiences, reflection, mentorship, and connection with other girls, Bloom helps young women strengthen their sense of identity, develop confidence in their voices, practice leadership, and begin considering how their unique gifts can contribute to the world around them.

Bloom doesn't tell girls who they should become.

It gives them a place to discover who they are — and room to Bloom into who they are becoming.

02

Three Questions. One Journey.

Who Am I?

Identity · Voice · Self-Discovery

Before a young woman can confidently lead, she needs opportunities to know herself.

Bloom creates space for girls to explore their strengths, values, interests, identities, creativity, experiences, and the qualities that make them uniquely themselves. Together, we explore questions such as: What matters to me? What are my strengths? What influences the way I see myself? What makes me feel most like myself? What does my voice sound like when I trust it?

Girls are encouraged to become curious about themselves without feeling pressured to have everything figured out. Because discovering who you are is part of growing.

Who Am I Becoming?

Confidence · Leadership · Personal Expression

Bloom helps girls understand that leadership isn't reserved for the loudest person in the room. You don't need a title to lead.

Leadership can look like speaking up when something matters. Making a thoughtful decision. Setting a healthy boundary. Listening well. Including someone who has been left out. Communicating clearly. Recovering after disappointment. Trying something unfamiliar. Standing up for yourself or someone else. Or having the courage to be yourself when you feel pressure to fit in.

Bloom gives girls opportunities to practice leadership, not simply learn about it. Throughout the experience, participants strengthen skills in areas such as confidence, communication, decision-making, resilience, healthy relationships, boundaries, self-advocacy, collaboration, and personal responsibility.

Bloom doesn't ask, "Are you a leader?" Instead, we ask, "What kind of leader are you becoming?"

What Will I Contribute to the World?

Purpose · Service · Impact

Every girl brings something to the table. Her perspective. Her creativity. Her experiences. Her ideas. Her strengths. Her voice. Her gifts.

Bloom encourages girls to recognize those gifts while asking an even bigger question: How will I use what I have to contribute?

Girls begin exploring what they care about, the communities they belong to, problems that capture their attention, and ways their strengths might positively affect other people.

In Bloom, leadership isn't simply about recognition or status.

Leadership is also about contribution.

It means making room for others. Using your gifts responsibly. Serving something beyond yourself. And recognizing that you don't have to wait until adulthood to make a meaningful difference.

03

Creativity Belongs in Leadership

Bloom places a special emphasis on expressive arts and creative techniques.

Young people don't always discover what they think, feel, or believe by simply sitting and talking about it. Sometimes they need to create.

Participants may engage in developmentally appropriate experiences using journaling, visual art, collage, storytelling, creative writing, music-inspired reflection, visioning, role-play, and other forms of personal expression.

Girls do not need to consider themselves artists. There are no perfect projects to create.

The purpose is expression, not performance.

Creativity becomes another language girls can use to explore identity, communicate ideas, imagine possibilities, solve problems, and discover their voices.

04

Bloom at the Table

Tea · Conversation · Sisterhood · Leadership

Tea is a signature ritual of the Bloom experience. Throughout the 12 weeks, girls gather virtually with their Bloom teacups for conversation, reflection, connection, and shared wisdom.

One of our recurring questions is:

"What's in Your Cup?"

What are you carrying today? What has been filling you? What has been draining you? What do you need? And what do you have to pour into someone else?

The tea table gives us a language for talking about leadership and life.

STEEP — Growth takes time.
CUP — Learn what fills you.
POUR — Consider what you give to others.
BLEND — Different personalities, perspectives, and strengths belong together.
TABLE — Leaders make room for others.
SERVE — Leadership involves service, not simply status.
TASTE — Be willing to try unfamiliar experiences and broaden your perspective.

Tea is not the purpose of Bloom.

Tea is the ritual. Leadership is the purpose.

05

Your Bloom Box

Your Invitation to the Table

Before Bloom begins, something special arrives. Each participant receives her own Bloom Box filled with items that will become part of her 12-week experience.

Bloom Teacup

For our tea gatherings and as a reminder that she has a seat at the table.

Bloom Journal

For reflection, creativity, ideas, questions, and capturing her journey.

Bloom Bracelet

A wearable reminder that she belongs to a community of young women learning, growing, and leading alongside her.

Creative & Leadership Materials

Selected materials used during Bloom activities and experiences.

And there is one thing intentionally missing from the box.

Her Signature Bloom Pin. That comes later.

06

The Signature Bloom Pin

Something to Grow Toward

Throughout the 12 weeks, each participant explores: Who am I? Who am I becoming? What will I contribute to the world?

She creates. She reflects. She uses her voice. She listens to others. She practices leadership. She discovers strengths. She navigates differences. She contributes to her Bloom circle.

And at the conclusion of the experience, she receives her Signature Bloom Pin.

The pin represents more than completing a program. It symbolizes her connection to the larger Bloom community and the leadership journey she has begun.

You are a Bloom girl.

You know yourself a little better. You have practiced using your voice. You understand that leadership can take many forms. And you know there is something you can contribute.

The program may end.

Belonging to Bloom doesn't have to.

07

The Power of a Small Circle

Each Bloom cohort is intentionally limited to a maximum of 8 young women.

This isn't a large virtual class where girls can easily disappear behind a screen. The small-group format creates room for every participant to be known, contribute, build relationships, receive encouragement, and practice using her voice.

Girls aren't expected to arrive as confident leaders.

Bloom is where they get to practice.

Practice speaking. Practice listening. Practice making decisions. Practice expressing an idea. Practice navigating differences. Practice encouraging another girl. Practice trying something unfamiliar. Practice making room for someone else. Practice contributing. And practice becoming the young woman they want to be.

08

More Than a Group

A Community of Young Women Who Bloom Together

When a girl joins Bloom, she isn't simply registering for 12 virtual meetings.

She is becoming part of a community.

A community of young women asking meaningful questions about themselves. A community where different personalities, interests, experiences, and strengths can belong at the same table. A community where girls can encourage one another rather than compete with one another. A community where their voices matter.

And a community grounded in the belief that every girl carries something worthy of being discovered, developed, and shared.

The bracelet she wears, the teacup she holds, the journal she fills, and eventually the pin she receives all become tangible reminders:

I have a seat at the table. My voice matters. I have something to contribute.

A Note for Parents & Guardians

Bloom is designed to provide adolescent girls with a structured, encouraging, developmentally appropriate environment for identity exploration, leadership development, personal expression, connection, and growth.

Participants are not viewed as problems to be fixed.

We believe adolescence is an important developmental season during which young women benefit from opportunities to explore who they are, develop their voices, build meaningful skills, form healthy connections, interact with trusted adults, and practice leadership in safe and age-appropriate ways.

Because Bloom serves minors, parent/guardian involvement and appropriate program safeguards are an important part of the experience. Families will receive information regarding participation expectations, virtual-group guidelines, privacy and confidentiality expectations, communication, technology, attendance, and other program policies before enrollment.

An Important Distinction

Bloom is a youth leadership and development experience. It is not psychotherapy or a mental health treatment group.

While participants may discuss everyday experiences, relationships, challenges, feelings, goals, and personal growth, Bloom's purpose is youth development, leadership education, skill-building, creative expression, mentorship, and connection.

Bloom does not provide diagnosis, psychotherapy, crisis intervention, or treatment for mental health conditions.

A parent/guardian and participant orientation or screening may be required before enrollment to help ensure that Bloom is an appropriate experience for each young woman.

12

There Is More Than One Way to Bloom.

You don't need to have everything figured out. You don't need to know exactly who you will become. You don't need to be the most confident girl in the room. You don't have to be the loudest. And you certainly don't have to become someone else's idea of a leader.

You need opportunities to explore. To create. To ask questions. To discover your strengths. To practice your voice. To build relationships. To try something new. To make room for others. And to imagine what you might contribute to the world.

At Bloom, there is a seat at the table for you.

Bring your questions. Bring your ideas. Bring your creativity. Bring who you are today. And make room for who you are becoming.

Welcome to Bloom. Your seat is waiting.

Bloom is open to girls ages 14–18. For program details, scheduling, and registration, reach out directly by email.
