On insurance

This practice does not bill insurance directly. A superbill — an itemized receipt suitable for submission to your insurance provider — is available upon request for clients whose plans offer out-of-network reimbursement.

Many PPO plans provide partial reimbursement; contacting your insurer directly is the most reliable way to understand your specific benefit.

05

Good Faith Estimate

Under the No Surprises Act, clients not using insurance have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges prior to beginning services. This will be provided as part of the intake process.

06

Cancellation & No-Show Policy

Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you. Consistent attendance supports the therapeutic process and allows me to maintain appointment availability for all clients.

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 48 hours' notice.

Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours' notice, as well as missed appointments, will be charged the full session fee. Cancellation and no-show fees are not billable to insurance and are the client's responsibility.

I understand that unexpected situations and emergencies can occur. In the case of a true emergency or other exceptional circumstance, the cancellation fee may be waived at my discretion.

If you arrive late for an appointment, the session will still end at the originally scheduled time and the full session fee will apply.

For clients using a reduced-fee rate, the late cancellation or no-show fee will be based on your agreed-upon session rate.

Repeated late cancellations or missed appointments may lead us to discuss whether your current appointment time or frequency of therapy continues to be a good fit.

By scheduling an appointment, you acknowledge and agree to this cancellation policy.

Common questions

How long does therapy typically take?+

This varies significantly by person and goal. Some work is focused and relatively brief; other work — particularly identity and pattern-level work — unfolds over a longer period. This is something to discuss directly during consultation.

What forms of payment are accepted?+

All standard credit cards are accepted, processed securely through Stripe via SimplePractice.

Is there a cancellation policy?+

Yes — please see the Cancellation & No-Show Policy above. In short: 48 hours' notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling; late cancellations and missed appointments are charged the full session fee.
